Snow and ice have arrived with a vengeance,
while this little snow girl by Pat Castka,
is relaxing safe and sound
where it is warm and cozy.
Other little snow people still abound,
taking care of birdies.......
and enjoying rides over frozen ponds, ice and snow.....
(Mags, do you recognise something familiar?)
Glitter birds still grace trees.....
while Christmas decorations are still enjoying
their stay here for awhile longer.
(Yes, even the bathroom was not spared)
Kitty cats wander thru the woods with their best friend.....
while others feel snug in a loved ones arms.
Hubby and I fell in love with a kitty at PetSmart.
He was already spoken for.
But the search is on.
Please give your heart to a pet in need,
support your local shelter,
or Human Society if you can.
So many need a good home, and have soooo much love to give!
Some of you will be dreaming of far-off-lands
or warm places to visit.....
while we might be putting on warm socks and
lace-up sturdy boots to deal with winter......
as Santa's are waving their farewell
until next year......
We polish up the punchbowl,
prepare the eggnog or other
fortifying drink, that we will share with family and friends,
to herald in a new year.
To all my blogger friends out there, old and new,
thank you for your friendship, for sharing,
and most of all for caring.
IT IS TRULY APPRECIATED !
I wish you all the very best for the new year,
2013.
May it bring you health, happiness and good fortune!
God bless you all,
Evi
