HALLOWEEN - AFTER SANDY

I would like to thank everyone who was so
kind with all their well-wishes for us!!!!
Knowing, that there were so many people out there,
all over the world, who thought and prayed for us,
made it easier to bare.
I thank you with my whole heart!!!

We lost power, but because of the generator,
we made it thru alright.
The power came back late last night...
and the land line phone just did.
This morning I have been watching TV,
and I cannot fathom the devastation that I am seeing.
So many people have lost everything, including their life's.

Please, please say a prayer for them all!

I cannot imagine the heartbreak they must feel.
And with the holidays coming up soon,
it adds to the misery.

I know, at some point people's lives will get back to normal,
but this storm and it's aftermath
will be forever with them.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

God bless you all,
Evi

PS. I just looked out of my large living room window.
There is beach sand sticking all over the windows.
I guess, as the crow flies,
we are still too close to the ocean.
This shows how strong the winds were!

I just spoke to my friend Laura@52flea.
She would like to let all of her followers know,
that she has NO power, hence no Internet.
They are doing well, but it looks like it is going
to be awhile before power is back in her neighborhood.
She is thinking of you all, and will get back to blogging
as soon as she can.

  4. Such good news that you are safe and warm! I was just listening to a radio report on how two people are stuck in New York and can't get back to the UK and how inconvenient it is for them and I'm thinking...WHAT! get real, your problems are nothing compared to the devastation and loss of life and the ongoing after effects. Big Hug. Suzy x
